more of Australia!! (finishing up Melbourne)

hey~! i'm back with more of Australia!!! i dunno how long this would take & how long this post is gonna be, but..just live with it xD. so, here it goes...

3rd December 2008 ! xD
*wednesday*

hmm...let's see, after 2nd December..oh yeah! we went to Bendigo. it's this place that's far away from Melbourne..i think it was a 3-hour drive to Bendigo? =S i dunno. well, again, i spent those 3 hours reading Twilight =D! i didn't sleep at all, cool eh? hehees. anyways, after a LONGGGG drive, we have reached Bendigo!! woo~

so, 1st..we went to a temple-like place, i think it was called the Golden Dragon Museum. my dad said it has the longest dragon in the world (well, not a real dragon). i took this picture before we went in :

the museum was filled with stuff from the acient times..duh. most of them were talkin about the Chinese that came to Australia for gold digging =O. here are some pictures...:

umm...this is a demonstration of how the chinese celebrate Chinese New Year..as if i didn't know, preformed by these wax dolls..& their kinda creepy-looking =X

OMG, this is just sooo peaceful!!! blue skies, poeple hangin out.. and there's no water in that stream..XD

okok, here comes the good part. dun dun dun DUN....!!!! we went for pottery making xP!! it was heaps fun..got my hands so damn dirty xD. it was'nt that far from this museum..just 10 minutes away. i have no idea why i'm tellin u this..lols~

hmm..i guess that's about it for Bendigo. well, after Pottery Making..we went back to Melbourne! we had dinner at a Malaysian Restaurant!! how cool is that? and this was how it looked like at 8:30pm in Melbourne :

5th November 2008 ! :\
*thursday*

it's the last day of Melbourne ;( and a big day for my brother...we went to the Melbourne Aquarium!! haha, he was really excited. it was just in the city..so it wasn't that far. if it wasn't for me, we wouldn't have found that place (zilian~)! we went in and took some pics of the Penguins, i got this one:

lols, since there are too many professinal shots from me & my bro..i can't post them up. XD so sorry! after the aquarium..LUNCH TIME!!! hahaha. we had lunch time in Chinatown..it was SO delicious xP! after lunch, we headed for Dandenongs. it's not that far from Melbourne..it's actually a hill. it's only..hmm, an hour's drive up there. first, we went to William Ricketts Sanctuary..i bet you dunno what's it for, but i'm gonna tell you anyway. it's a place with all these..statues of the aboriginals of Australia made by William Ricketts..and they're very..inspiring? i dunno..XD but there was really fresh air..haha, random.

i'm not gonna put any pics of the statues, cuz..(u kno why) i'm just too darn lazy..hehees ^.^ back to the point, we went to SkyHigh to look at the view of Melbourne. and, OMG it's RREEEAAALLYYYY wide & beautiful up there!!!! i'll definately post some pictures here..but, this is the only picture that's better than the others :


ok, you can't really see it cuz it's too small...damn it, Blogger. oh yeah! and, me & my dad went into this Maze-thingy, it was...confusing, of course. i don't have any pictures IN the maze...but it did look like this :

and then we went to the Giant's Chair just infront of SkyHigh. Family Photo! :



after that, we went back down to Melbourne. but, then..something made me panic. OMG my phone was not with me!!! oh noooo!!! i asked everyone in the car, they said they didn't have it. i checked my pocket again, & my bag..but, no. nothing. checked the car, checked everyone's backpack..still nothing. i must've dropped it in Dandenong! damn, i thought. after dinner, we decided to call my phone to see if anyone would pick up.

and luckily...a guy picked up!!! i was sooo relieved. he said he lives near where we ate dinner..so we met up with him, & it turns out that i DID drop my phone! they said it was in the grass...oh, right. i remember now cuz i was rolling in the grass..=.= i was soooo thankful & guilty cuz my family went through A LOT of trouble. sorry, guys :(




and...that's the end of Melbourne!! yayyy~ but i still have another week of Australia..-.- don't worry, i'll definately finish it!!! XD
